An exhibition of paintings by eminent artists from China's Tibet
Autonomous Region was held in Kathmandu on Thursday.
The exhibition displayed 50 contemporary art works by renowned
Tibetan artists.
Four year ago, a "Nepal Contemporary Painting Exhibition" was
also organized in Lhasa of Tibet, Han Shuli, head of the visiting
Tibetan artist delegation said, adding the exhibition today is the
continuation of the cultural exchanges.
The show was staged on an occasion marking the 50th anniversary
of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and
Nepal, Han said.
"The main objective of our visit is to continue our exchanges,
to strengthen the relationship between the artists of the two sides
and also to study Nepal's rich culture," he added.
