Guangdong Stun Shaanxi for Sixth Straight Win

Defending champions Guangdong smashed Shaanxi 117-82 in a CBA league match during the weekend, extending their winning streak to six games.

The two sides played head-to-head in the first quarter to see Shaanxi leading 20-18. A three-pointer from Wang Shipeng gave Guangdong a marginal lead of one point.

Home favorite Guangdong strengthened their defense in the second quarter, and enlarged their advantage to 60-40 before the break.

Guangdong continued their dominance in the second half and wrapped up the victory with a margin of 38 points.

Yi Jianlian spearheaded the Guangdong squad with a game-high of 31 points and 15 rebounds. Five other players in Guangdong also scored double digits in the game. 

Crump Brandon nipped 19 points for Shaanxi, while Moore Trey added 14.
