Beijing consolidated their strong defense on home soil by beating Jiangsu 114-101 to remain on top of the North Conference after CBA 33rd round matches.

 

Super-center Menk Bateer scored 29 points and 10 rebounds for Beijing while five other players on the team also recorded double figures in scoring.

 

Beijing's victory has once again dimmed Jiangsu's dream of becoming the second in their South Conference.

 

Bayi, the army team, is now second after their overtime win over Jilin 114-112 Friday night.

 

Defending champions Guangdong had an easy victory 113-80 over Shandong to sit comfortably on top of the South Conference.
