More than one hundred people were brought into the street and put on trial in front of the public in Futian district in Shenzhen on Wednesday.

Over the past three weeks, police had been sweeping pornographic crimes through the karaoke bars, discos, saunas and barbers. They arrested 167 prostitutes and patrons.

Criminals were brought in Shangsha and Xiasha villages for the trial. The police director disclosed the crimes of each individual, while reading out their information (names, date of births and address).

Each person was then sentenced to 15 days in administrative detention.
