Community Offers Help on Domestic Violence

A community in Daoli District of Harbin, Heilongjiang, has decided establish 30 stations where locals can report domestic violence to police and lawyers can provide counseling.

These stations are scheduled to go into operation this week to keep residents, particularly women, who have been victims.

On Thursday, International Women's Day, up to 200 policemen and lawyers offered legal advice to residents living throughout the district's 98 communities.
