Adjust font size:

A rare solar halo emerged in Mianning County in southwest China's Sichuan Province at noon on April 5. The colorful halo surrounded the sun for more than one hour. A meteorologist said that a solar halo is caused by the refraction of sunlight. The appearance of a solar halo generally indicates that the weather is about to change. However, a solar halo is quite rare.
