| 11 killed, 6 Missing in Hebei Coal Mine Accident |

Eleven people have been killed and six others are missing following an explosion in a coal mine in north China's Hebei Province early Thursday, local work safety authorities said. The accident took place at about 2 AM at Dashucun Coal Mine in Handan City. Rescue operations are underway. (Xinhua News Agency April 19, 2007) |
