The 50 service centers for intellectual property protection nationwide have exerted positive influences on mobilizing the public to take part in IPR protection and providing guidance on safeguarding IPR for enterprises.
The establishment of these service centers has intensified the fight against IPR infringement and crimes and received exciting social response.
As of the end of October, the 50 service centers had received 21,400 various consultation and complaints by the hotline "12312", and 158 of the complaints had been closed.
For the public's further understanding of the function of the service centers, the State Office of Intellectual Property Protection (SOIPP) promoted an image representative of the Hotline for Intellectual Property Protection "12312" to make it more human-oriented and to encourage all circles of the society to join in the IPR protection work.
In addition, the SOIPP will carry out unified publicity of the Service Center for Intellectual Property Protection and the Hotline "12312" nationwide by means of non-profit advertisements, posters, media, Internet, etc..
