Luxury Gov't Building VS. Shabby Classrooms

A luxury office building, which covers a total land area of 16,724 square meters and costs 40 million yuan is pictured in Jingbian, northwest China's Shaanxi Province April 19.

The luxury building covers a total land area of 16,724 square meters and costs 40 million yuan. However, some students are still having classes at a total of 5,300 square meters of nearly-collapsed classrooms. The Chinese government has called for a campaign to halt ostentatious buildings.
