Macao Sets up Human Resource Unit

The government of China's Macao Special Administrative Region has set up the Human Resource Office to handle labor affairs, according to an official press release issued on Tuesday.

The press release from the Information Bureau said the office is entitled to research on the information concerning the local labor market, to cooperate with other government departments in working out regulations of labor imports, and to handle applications of labor imports.

The office is put under the charge of the secretary for economy and finance.
