Dolled Up Ferris Wheel Will Brighten Up Shanghai
Adjust font size:

The Ferris wheel illuminates the sky.

A gigantic Ferris wheel, 108 meters high, is the largest attraction in Shanghai Jinjiang Amusement Park. Tomorrow it will be dressed up with a profusion of neon lights. Erected on May 1, 2002, it is the first one of its kind in China.

Blazing colorful beams, these computer-controlled neon lights will take on almost a dozen revolving patterns as it rotates, with the immense wheel following the light like a sunflower gazing at the sky.
