In his meeting with Hissa Al-Thani, who is UN special envoy on the disabled, Hui said his government attaches great importance to the undertakings to help the disabled people.

"However, there remain lots of difficulties and challenges which require enhanced efforts to overcome," he said. China appreciates UN's active role in promoting the development of disability cause, he added.

Al-Thani extended congratulations to the achievement China has made in helping the disabled people.
