Titled the "Green Channel" policy, the services include cutting down tuition fees and providing loans with low interest rates, as well as offering these students part-time job opportunities.

In addition to allowing these students to delay the payment of their tuition fees, Guangxi University of Technology also provides them with free living necessities, such as bed linens.

The university has helped over 1000 students since the "Green Channel" policy was adopted in 2000.
