Lu Zhangong      

Lu Zhangong, a native of Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, was born in May 1952. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in January 1975. He graduated from Heilongjiang Construction and Engineering School.

From 1989 to 1998,  He held a series of posts in the CPC Jiaxing Municipal Committee and the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.

He became deputy secretary of the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee in 1996 and vice-chairman of the All China Federation of Trade Unions 1998. He took over as deputy secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee in 2001 and in 2002 became vice-governor of the CPC Fujian Province.

He became governor of Fujian in 2003 and secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee in 2004. He is a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
