Lu Zushan      

Governor of Zhejiang Province

Lu Zushan, a native from Zhejiang's Hangzhou City, was born in November 1946. He began work in September 1968 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in March 1966. He completed an on-the-job postgraduate program with the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and is a senior engineer.

Lu successively served as head of the Production Quality Group for the Zhejiang Automobile Corporation; engineer of the Business Management Section, then deputy director and director of the provincial Machinery Department; secretary-general of the provincial Party committee, standing committee member of the provincial Party committee, and executive vice governor.

In January 2003, he was elected as governor of Zhejiang at the first session of the tenth Zhejiang People's Congress.
