An escalator was bent out of shape due to overcrowding during a job fair held in Zhengzhou on Sunday, November 19, 2006.

 

 

More than 30,000 students participated in the job fair on Sunday, November 19, 2006.

 

The education department of the province said the job fair was intended for undergraduate and technical school students, but some masters students also joined in. In addition, some graduates came from other provinces to look for jobs.

 

It was reported that over 30,000 students participated in the job fair, but only about 260 companies had job vacancies.
