First Foreign Students Art Troupe in Zhejiang Founded

The first foreign students art troupe in Zhejiang Province was founded in Jinhua recently.

 

Currently, there are over 100 foreign students from France, Finland, Ukraine, Turkey, India, Nepal, South Korea, Pakistan and Iraq in College of Profession and Technology (JCPT), who are studying medical sciences, elementary education, international trade or artistic design.

 

The 30 members of the art troupe are from Ukraine, Nepal, India, etc, and they are all studying in JCPT.

 

"Many foreign students are interested in Chinese culture, and we appreciate their talents, so we initiated the art troupe," said Wang Zhengting, the director of the International Department of JCPT. "Besides, the members of the art troupe and through their performances will help with the communication between Chinese and foreign students," he added.

 

The art troupe will also give performances outside school, and it is planning its first performance tour of major universities in Zhejiang Province.
