Shanghai will grant government scholarships to finance excellent foreign students for postgraduate studies in the city.

 

The scholarships will be divided into three levels. The first is full scholarship, 40,000 yuan per year, the second 20,000 yuan per year, and the third 4,000 to 8,000 yuan per year, according to the applicants' marks.

 

Those who win full scholarships will enjoy free tuition, textbooks, life insurance and accommodation. The scholarship will also include their living expenses in China, and will be provided monthly.
