Taiwan pop singer David Tao promoted his forthcoming exclusive concert on Monday afternoon in Shanghai, Chinese website sohu.com reports.

The concert will be a simple "one man show", without any guest performers, the star said.

David Tao said after the concert he will devote most of his times towards the production of films. "I'm not shooting films to have fun. I really want to make achievements, even higher than what I have done in music."

The vocal concert will be held in Shanghai's Hongkou Stadium on July 7.
