Enduring Hong Kong singer and actor superstar, Andy Lau, on Wednesday released his first album in Mandarin in two years.

The prolific singer has made more than 40 Mandarin and Cantonese albums since 1985.

Entitled Miracle World, his latest offering features ten songs with a theme of an ox's fantasy world.

Andy Lau, who was born in the Year of the Ox, was quoted in previous reports as explaining the world from a cow's eyes must be simpler and more beautiful.

The album features a mix-up of hip-hop, R&B, and Andy Lau's signature love ballad melodies.

On his official website, he has revealed a 15-city itinerary to promote the album on the Chinese mainland, which begins on September 1 in Hohhot, the capital city of the northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Even before the release, Andy Lau has taken several steps to promote the album.

He has designed a toy and named it "Andox," which is a combination of Andy and Ox. The toy has become a sought-after item among fans after its debut earlier this month.
