In winter 1921, Mao Zedong arrived in Anyuan, Jiangxi Province, to lead the worker movement there. After that, the Party sent Li Lisan, Liu Shaoqi and others to Anyuan at different times for the same purpose. In March 1922, the preparatory committee of the Anyuan Miners’ Club was established.
