16th CPC Congress Presidium Holds Second Meeting

The presidium of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held its second meeting in the Great Hall of the People Sunday afternoon.

The meeting, presided over by Jiang Zemin, approved three draft resolutions respectively on the report of the 15th CPC Central Committee, the work report of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the amendment to the Constitution of the CPC. The meeting decided to hand them over to delegations to the congress for discussion.

The presidium meeting also approved election methods of the congress and fulfilled some other agendas.
