The Second full-member session of the 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ninth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee was held on Wednesday.

Representatives from the central committees of eight Non-Communist parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and some personalities with no party affiliations attended the session. They pledged their support for the new leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

The democratic parties include the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, the China Democratic League, the China Democratic National Construction Association, the China Association for Promoting Democracy, the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, the China Zhi Gong Party (Public Interest Party), the Jiu San Society, and the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League.

The session was presided over by Hu Qili, vice-chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
