Minister on Chinese Culture Today
Chinese Culture Minister Sun Jiazheng delivered a speech entitled Chinese Culture Today: Aspirations and Dreams at the National Press Club in downtown Washington on October 3, 2005, two days after a month-long Festival of China opened at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

The Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, collaborated with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts of the United States of America, will present a month-long Festival of China in Washington D.C. from October 1st to 31st, 2005.
The Murals
Prof. Sun Jingbo of China Central Academy of Fine Arts was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture for two murals to be donated as gifts of Chinese Government to the Kennedy Center
