Talented Hong Kong actor/director Stephen Chow is confident in the drawing power of his new movie Yangtze River 7.

The new flick will start shooting in the eastern Chinese city of Ningbo and be released next summer.

 

The script is still undergoing modifications. However, Chow believes its box office returns will exceed his last blockbuster, Kung Fu Hustle, which pocketed 170 million yuan in China last year.

 

Yangtze River 7 will combine the comedy, action and sci-fi genres.
