In the upcoming movie Confession of Pain, Tony Leung plays a melancholy policeman who "does not love himself and tortures himself until destroying himself." 　　

That's lead actor Tony leung's description of the character he plays in his latest movie Confession of Pain. Though many characters in the movie have deep pain in their hearts, Tony Leung still hopes this movie will help people be more brave and have a more positive attitude toward their "pains." 　　

Tony Leung told Beijing Youth Daily Tuesday his character was so different from his previous ones, he decided to accept the challenge. 　　

The character Liu Zhengxi is a policeman who has a negative attitude towards life and keeps hurting people around him.

Leung said each of us has grief-stricken memories, but we should be more positive and brave to face it. 　　

He also praised lead actress Xu Jinglei, who plays his wife in the movie."She is an attractive actress. Her character is actually hard to play, a middle-class and well educated married Hong Kong lady. She is sensitive, perfect, but fragile. Xu prepared well for each scene and it was very interactive when cooperating with her."
