Railway passengers get stranded at a railway station in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province July 16, 2006. Rainstorms caused by Typhoon Bilis delayed the Beijing-Guangzhou train, leaving thousands of passengers stranded at the train station. 154 people were killed across southeast China with more than 100 missing as Bilis continues to rage.

Winds brought by Typhoon Bilis stiring up huge waves in Wenling, a coastal city in east China's Zhejiang Province, on July 14. Bilis weakened from a typhoon into a tropical storm early Friday after hitting the coast of Fujian Province in the early afternoon. Authorities in Fujian and Zhejiang evacuated about 326,000 people as a precaution.
