Jiang Jufeng

Jiang Jufeng, of the han ethnic group, is a native of Zhuji County, Zhejiang Province. He was born in October 1948, and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in July 1982. He graduated from the Economics Department of Fudan University in 1982, majoring in Political Economics.

Jiang's educational and employment background is as follows:

Oct. 1978-July 1982: Studied in the Economics Department of Fudan University.

Jul. 1982-Sep. 1983: Teacher of the Economics Department of Hangzhou University.

Sep. 1983-Feb. 1984: Staff of the CPC Zhuji County Committee's Publicity Department.

Jun. 1984-Jan. 1985: Deputy director of the CPC Zhuji County Committee's Publicity Department.

Jan. 1985-Jun. 1989: Secretary of the CPC Zhuji County Committee of Zhejiang Province.

Jun. 1989-Apr. 1993: Staff and deputy director of the General Office of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.
 
Apr. 1993-Jan. 1994: Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.

Jan. 1994-Jun. 1998: Deputy secretary-general of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.

Jun. 1998-Mar. 2002: Secretary of the CPC Wenzhou Municipal Committee of Zhejiang Province, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.

Mar. 2002- Jan. 2007: Deputy governor of Sichuan Province, deputy secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee.

Jan. 2007-Jan. 2008: Acting governor, governor of Sichuan Province.

Jan. 2008 -: Governor of Sichuan Province.
