"Macao has been keeping a good momentum of development since its return to China in 1999. I wish the Macao SAR government to make further efforts for Macao's long-term development," he said when meeting with Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of the Macao SAR also in Boao on Friday.

He also acclaimed the business circles of Hong Kong and Macao for their contribution to the economic development of the mainland when he met with their delegations which are attending the forum.

He said he wishes them to strengthen the economic exchanges and cooperation with the mainland to realize a win-win development.

"I also wish you to unite all walks of life in your society and support the chief executives and the SAR governments to create harmonious societies," he said.
