China, Belarus to Deepen Cooperation on Fighting Crimes

China and Belarus signed a protocol Tuesday on cooperation in fighting crimes, targeting mainly terrorism, separatism, extremism and cross-border crimes.

 

Chinese Public Security Minister Zhou Yongkang held talks with the Belarussian Interior Minister Vladimir Naumov and they exchanged views on how to further cooperation on cracking down on terrorism, separatism, extremism and cross-border crimes.

 

The two sides agreed to expand pragmatic cooperation in personnel and information exchanges, staff training and assistance in handling criminal cases.

 

After their talks, Zhou and Naumov signed a protocol on cooperation between the Chinese Public Security Ministry and Belarussian Interior Ministry from 2006 to 2007.
