Adjust font size:

US Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill said Friday afternoon he did not discuss sanction in talks with Chinese officials about the Korean Peninsula's nuclear issue.

Hill, also chief US negotiator in the six-party talks, arrived here Friday morning after Wednesday's test-firing of missiles by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Hill said he hopes DPRK can return to the framework of the six-party talks as soon as possible.

He held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, vice FM Wu Dawei and also State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan during the visit.
