Macedonia, China to Promote Cooperation
Adjust font size:

Visiting State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan and Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski pledged to further promote political and economic cooperation in the future during a meeting in Macedonia's capital city of Skopje on Tuesday.

China is willing to work with Macedonia and take specific measures to realize the important consensus reached by the two heads of state last year in New York, Tang said.

He hoped the two countries could further promote politically mutual trust, enlarge mutual benefits and cooperation, and push their friendly cooperative relations to smoothly move forward.

Crvenkovski said Macedonia highly emphasized the friendly relations with China, and would make all possible efforts to promote bilateral cooperation in all fields.

Macedonia firmly abides by the one-China policy, and is willing to boost high-level exchange, political cooperation as well as economic cooperation with China, Crvenkovski said.

Tang's current eight-day visit includes Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Croatia.
