Premier Wen Meets Vietnamese Deputy PM

Premier Wen Jiabao met in Beijing Monday with visiting Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.

 

Wen said China attaches importance to the relations with Vietnam and is committed to enhancing bilateral cooperation.

 

He hoped the two countries promote political trust and economic cooperation and cement all-round development of Sino-Vietnamese ties.

 

Pham said Vietnam will make joint efforts with China to further the relationship.

 

Pham is on an official visit to China from March 24 to 29. State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met with Pham, and Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks with him on Sunday.
