Japan, China Hold 7th Round of Discussion on Disputed Gas Field

The seventh round of discussion over gas exploitation in a disputed field in the East China Sea between Japan and China was held in Tokyo on Thursday.

 

China was represented by a delegation led by Hu Zhengyue, head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry's Asian Affairs Department, and Japan was represented by a delegation led by Kenichiro Sasae, head of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau.

 

The two sides made a constructive exchange of ideas on joint exploitation in the field.
