The other two, Bian Jingzhong and Shi Weisha, are a couple, who have their own business in Abidjan.

Another two Chinese passengers, male, got on the plane in Douala, the capital of western Cameroon's Littoral Province. One is Liu Sheng, an employee with Shenzhen-based Huawei Technologies. The other is Wu Changgen from Jiangsu Province. Wu was on a business tour in Cameroon.

The Kenya Airways plane carried at least 114 people on board.
