A reception was held in Beijing Wednesday to celebrate the 35th anniversary of establishment of China-Guyana diplomatic relations.

Addressing the occasion, Li Jianping, vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, said the China-Guyana ties have developed smoothly in the past 35 years.

The friendly cooperation will bear more fruits in the future with joint efforts, he said.
