China, Vietnam Discuss Border Demarcation

Chinese and Vietnamese government delegations on border negotiation held meetings in Beijing on Saturday and Sunday, exchanging views on the survey of the two countries' land borderline.

 

The two delegations are respectively headed by Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei and his Vietnamese counterpart Vu Dung.

 

The two sides exchanged views on speeding up the process of defining land borderline as well as enhancing maritime cooperation. Both sides agreed to hold the next round of meetings in Vietnam.

 

Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with the Vietnamese delegation on Monday.
