Japanese Chief Negotiator Arrives for Six-Party Talks

Kenichiro Sasae, chief Japanese negotiator to the six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, arrived in Beijing Friday evening.

 

Sasae, who is director-general for Asian and Oceanian Affairs of Japanese Foreign Ministry, is to attend the working group meeting on the denuclearization of Korean Peninsula and the sixth round of six-party talks.

 

The other senior official Japan sent to attend the upcoming sixth round of the six-party talks is Suda Akio, Japanese ambassador in charge of the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue.

 

Suda Akio arrived in Beijing on March 14.
