Cooperative Relations with Developing Countries Score Considerable Achievement

The year 2001 witnessed frequent exchange visits among leaders of China and other developing countries, enhanced political negotiations and expanded economic cooperation. President Jiang's successful visits to six Latin American nations began a new chapter in the history of China-Latin America friendly and cooperative ties. China's relations with African countries developed smoothly, and follow-up work of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum is advancing stage by stage.
