Hijacking of Airplane of Sudan Ends with No One Wounded

The hijacking event of a Boeing passenger jet of Sudan has ended with no one injured, reports reaching Yaounde said on Wednesday.

 

According to the reports, the hijacker has given himself up and been arrested by the Chadian side. The hijacking has come to an end with no one injured after the plane landed at the airport in the Chadian capital of N'Djamena. No further details were available.

 

The plane was surrounded by Chadian troops almost immediately after its landing.

 

Pan-Arab television channel al-Jazeera reported that the Boeing passenger jet carrying 103 people was hijacked at around 9: 00 a.m. (0600 GMT) on Wednesday when it was flying on a domestic course. The plane diverted from its original flight course to N'djamena.
