According to a recent report, in order to facilitate more and more people visiting Tibet during the high tourist season, China Airlines will recover the original direct flight of Guangzhou-Lhasa recently.

Last winter, China Airlines suspended the Guangzhou-Lhasa direct flight because there are usually few tourists visiting Tibet during winter. As the high tourist season has come since April 1st that a great number of visitors will go to Tibet, the China Airlines decides to recover the flight.

The flight will be operated by Air Bus 319's and will stop at Deqen in Yunnan Province during the trip. It is said that, the flight will be increased to three flights every week in May and seven in July. Following is the detailed schedule.

In addition, there are also flights from Guangzhou to Lhasa which will stop at Chongqing during the trip. Also operated by China Airlines, there is one flight to Lhasa every day. By taking the flight, passengers don't need to change the flights in Chongqing.
