Stars Interested in Olympic Songs
Adjust font size:

On Sunday night in Beijing acclaimed Chinese musicians attended the ceremony to launch the fourth campaign for music for the 2008 Olympics.

Those who've shown an interest in making a contribution include Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau, Taiwan love song sensation Jeff Zhang and the new star from the Chinese mainland Zhou Bichang, who became popular through the 2005 Super Girl singing competition.

Andy Lau proposed using English songs to access a wider audience.

Seven types of musical works will be selected for the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics from global submissions. The final results will be announced 100 days before the Games.
