Chinese mainland folk singer Zu Hai on Friday staged a concert
in Hong Kong, expressing an early "Happy Chinese New Year" to local
citizens.
It raised the curtain for a series of shows to celebrate the
10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
Hong Kong veteran entertainers Andy Hui and Wang Ming-Chuen were
on-site to show their support.
The highlight of the night was a song sung by Zu Hai, Andy Hui
and ten local children who were born in the year 1997.
An audience member was quoted as saying, "The folk songs are so
nice and beyond my expectations." The show attracted over 3,000
locals.
