Supergirl-turned-singer Zhou Bichang left Shanghai on Monday to study three months in the United States.

It is reported that Zhou Bichang will take part in a 14-week-long curriculum at a music college.

Zhou Bichang said she hoped to learn more about R&B in its birthplace.

Staff with Zhou's agent revealed the singer has practiced oral English, learning special music vocabulary every week with a foreign tutor since the end of last year. "It will not be difficult for her to communicate with others in the US," they said.
