Taiwan's richest man Terry Guo, or Guo Taimin, chairman of Hon Hai Group, watched his daughter marry her long-time boyfriend on Thursday.

The luxurious wedding banquet was held at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, with heavyweights from Taiwan's high-tech sector attending the party as guests.

The tycoon himself served as the bride's witness.

It's reported that Terry Guo gifted the newlyweds a 180 million yuan house, together with 30 million yuan's worth of diamond jewellery.

The bride, Guo Hsiao-ling, aged 31, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, as a major in economic and financial management. The bridegroom, Tsao Shih-chieh, aged 30, majored in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Irvine.
