Band members of Yu Quan, Hu Haiquan (L) and Chen Yufan, on Monday kicked off a friendly football match in Beijing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band.

Chinese mainland pop band Yu Quan on Monday held a football match in Beijing with their friends from the showbiz circle, as a celebration to mark its10th anniversary of being together as a band.

Singers Huang Zheng, Sun Nan and famous TV host Bi Fujian took part in the friendly match. All players put on 10 types of sports attires to represent the 10th birthday of Yu Quan.

The band's label, Huayi Music, says that the football match is only the beginning of a series celebrating activities. And that the band will hold several other events, including concerts, in the days to come.
