"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria has ruled out rumors that England football icon David Beckham would pose with Pop singer Robbie Williams as a gay couple in a new episode of the U.S. hit show, media reported Friday.

Longoria told U.S. celebrity news show "Extra" she was also taken in by the rumor and she felt she had to check out with Beckham's wife Victoria.

"No, talked to Victoria the other day," Longoria said. "I told her about that rumor, she was laughing. David had a good laugh out of it. No, they (Beckham and Williams) are not coming on the show."

In regard to rumors that a major "Desperate Housewives" character died this season, she would only reveal, "Someone does die, that's all they said."

Longoria, who wedded French basketball star Tony Parker in July, also talked about her plans to raise their family in the United States.

"Tony definitely wants to live in Texas. We both want to live in Texas," she said. "We'll spend our summers in France. We want to do both, but they'll be raised in America."
