Singaporean pop singer, JJ Lin, wants to discover his acting talent by taking on the leading role in a TV drama, a press conference revealed Monday.

JJ Lin will make his small-screen debut in a school-age comedy based on a popular Internet novel. He will play a teenage boy who discovers what his neighbors always call him -- "good-looker" -- is an ironic comment on his unprepossessing face.

Acting opposite him will be the Mandarin-speaking Korean-American singer Nicky Lee.

Neither JJ Lin nor Nicky Lee has any prior acting experience.
