Jet Li, NBA stars open 'Happy House' with Disney

"Disney Happy House", the first commonwealth project cooperated by Chinese "Kung fu Emperor" Jet Li and Walt Disney Company, was opened in China Welfare Institute Children's Palace in Shanghai on Wednesday.

China News Service reports that the "Happy House" focuses on physical and mental health of the youth, same as Jet Li's charity fund, the One Foundation.

Besides providing free books, movies, cartoons and internet service, the first "Happy House" will offer psychological guidance to children suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or infantile autism.

Jet Li also invited two NBA stars George Gervin and Rick Barry to "Happy House" to play with the children, and they took four children suffering from leukemia to the NBA China Games Wednesday evening.

Jet Li confirmed that related commonwealth projects supported by One Foundation will be launched in succession in other cities on the Chinese mainland.
