Surrounded by picturesque scenery on Dongyu Island of Boao, the Russian visitors learned Taiji, or Tai Chi, from a Chinese Kung fu master and experienced the physical therapies of traditional Chinese medicine.

Local newspaper Hainan Daily reports the Russian visitors came to Boao, home of the Boao Forum for Asia, for the program "Comedy Club" produced by Russian National Television.

The Russian program is scheduled to screen in Boao for ten days, from November 2 to 12. It features tourism items including hotels, beaches, hot springs and golf-courses and Chinese elements like physical therapies, Kung fu, calligraphy, mah-jong and Chinese characters.

As a top-rated program in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, "Comedy Club" introduces world famous tourist destinations to Russian people every year. The program on Boao will be produced as ten episodes and will be broadcast for half a year.
